Connie Lenzen, cg,
will lead a session on “Historical Context: More Than A Timeline.” The
historical and geographical landscapes where our ancestors resided
shaped how they lived, where they went to market, whom they met and
married, where they recorded land sales and marriages, and the location
of their final resting place. Connie Lenzen, cg, former president of BCG and NGS director, is editor of the revised NGS American Genealogy: Home Study Course.
Beverly Rice, cg,
will lead a session on “The Path To Change And A Better
Life—Migration.” Migration is more than a trail and the lives of a
family; it is the growth of a country, the settling of a nation, and the
creating of a history. Beverly Rice, cg,
lecturer on topics related to methodology, migration, women, and the
western experience; conducts one-day seminars on methodology and record
research.
